How it works

Your syllabus is already a plan.
We just read it for you.

Every course starts with a syllabus. But manually entering dozens of assignments, exams, and deadlines takes time you don't have. Semester Companion uses OCR and AI to extract every detail in seconds. You review and confirm before anything saves. Nothing else on the market does this.

02

Why I built this
"Every semester, the first week was just data entry. Type every due date, every grade weight, every exam, into whatever planner I was trying that year. Six years of that. I finally just built the thing."

I spent six years in college finishing a math degree and a master's in computer science with a focus in AI. By the end, I knew exactly how to build what I'd always wanted: an app that reads your syllabus so you don't have to. Now I work as a data scientist and build apps on the side. This is the one I'm most proud of.
